Hat Creek Quilts Patterns

Many of our beautiful old homes have porches and entrances made out of ceramic tiles, their patterns resemble patchwork quilts and I took inspiration from them for this project.  The quilt combines woven wool applique blocks with a snowflake look set between pieced cotton print blocks, the applique shapes have added detail with cotton prints used in the centre for reverse applique.
