This sampler quilt's design is based on "Streak Of Lightning" quilt settings.

It is easy to make with simple 8" blocks which are set on point.  Large triangles are then added to the four sides of the blocks.  

The ziz-zag affect is achieved by offsetting alternate rows with a half block at the top and bottom
